This update is no longer going to proceed in it’s current format, additional work will be completed to update how this process will work, no doubt they shall consult with organisations to better understand their requirements. Further announcements will be made public when more details are known.

Microsoft Teams meeting lobby rollout is delayed, if you’re organisation doesn’t have this feature yet then you may need to wait until end of July for this to be enabled. I’m a fan of enabling this feature as it assists to control external meeting participants joining a meeting.

MC215356, Plan For Change, Published date: Jun 5, 2020

Major update: Announcement Applies To: All

SharePoint Auto-News Digest sends automated email to users in your company about the latest News posts that they have not yet read. Using Microsoft intelligence, a curated selection of News posts are shared with users through an email that comes from SharePoint. This is a great way for users to catch up on News that they may have otherwise missed. Only published news posts are sent in the digest, and users will have access to all the news posts that they are sent so rest assured that users won’t see news that they don’t have permission to see. If users want to opt-out of receiving the Auto-News Digest, they can click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.
